【摘要】:Thisstandardprovidestherequirementsfora128-tracktapeformattobeusedforinformationinterchangeofdatabetweeninformationprocessingsystems,communicationsystems,andassociatedequipmentusingstandardcodeasagreeduponbytheinterchangeparties.Thisstandarddealssolelywiththerequirementsforrecording,withprovisionmadeforusingaprocessingalgorithm,onmagnetictape.1.2PurposeThisstandarddefinestherequirementsandsupportingtestmethodsnecessarytoensureinterchangeatacceptableperformancelevels.Itisdistinctfromaspecificationinthatitdelineatesaminimumnumberofrestrictionsconsistentwithcompatibilityininterchangetransactions.Exceptasindicatedabove,interchangepartiescomplyingwiththeapplicablestandardsshouldbeabletoachievecompatibilitywithouttheneedforadditionalexchangeoftechnicalinformation.Theuseofatapelabelandfilestructurestandard,suchasAmericanNationalStandardforInformationsystems-Filestructureandlabelingofmagnetictapesforinformationinterchange,ANSIX3.27,orequivalent,maybeusedtoprovideapplicationinterchangeinformation.
