【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresandequipmentthatwillpermit,withincertainlimits,representativesamplingfortheautomateddeterminationofgasconcentrationsofeffluentgasstreams.Theapplicationislimitedtothedeterminationofoxygen(O2),carbondioxide(CO2),carbonmonoxide(CO),sulfurdioxide(SO2),nitricoxide(NO),nitrogendioxide(NO2)andtotaloxidesofnitrogen(NOx).1.2Velocitymeasurementsarerequiredtodeterminethemassflowratesofgases.Thisisnotincludedinthispractice.1.3Therearesomecombustionprocessesandsituationsthatmaylimittheapplicabilityofthispractice.Wheresuchconditionsexist,cautionandcompetenttechnicaljudgmentarerequired,especiallywhendealingwithanyofthefollowing:1.3.1Corrosiveorhighlyreactivecomponents,1.3.2Highvacuum,highpressure,orhightemperaturegasstreams,1.3.3Wetfluegases,1.3.4Fluctuationsinvelocity,temperature,orconcentrationduetouncontrollablevariationintheprocess,1.3.5Gasstratificationduetothenon-mixingofgasstreams,1.3.6Measurementsmadeusingenvironmentalcontroldevices,and1.3.7Lowlevelsofgasconcentrations.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Formorespecificsafetyprecautions,referto5.1.4.8,5.2.1.6,and6.2.2.1.
