【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversperformancerequirementsforheadprotectionusedfortrainingandcompetitioninmartialartssuchaskarate,wushu,andtaekwondo,wherenormalcontactbetweenparticipantsmayberepeated,butislimitedtoalevelthatisnotintendedtoproduceinjury.Theseactivitiestypicallytakeplaceinindoororoutdoorenvironmentswherethetemperatureismoderate.Thisspecificationrecognizesthedesirabilityofalightweightandstreamlinedconstruction,andventilation;howeveritisaperformancespecification,andisnotintendedtorestrictdesign.AlltestingandrequirementsofthisspecificationshallbeinaccordancewithTestMethodsF1446,exceptwherenotedinthisspecification.Partialutilizationofthisstandardisprohibited.Anystatementofcompliancewiththisspecificationshallbeacertificationthattheproductmeetsalloftherequirementsofthespecificationinitsentirety.Aproductthatfailstomeetanyoneoftherequirementsofthisspecificationisconsideredtohavefailedthespecification,andshallnotbedistributedorsoldwithanyindicationthatitmeetspartsofthespecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
