【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversconcretemasonrylintels(beams)thataresolidincross-section,arereinforcedforflexure,andaremadefromhydrauliccement,water,andmineralaggregateswithorwithouttheinclusionofothermaterials.Theselintelsaresuitableforbothloadbearingandnonloadbearingapplications.Note1Thisspecificationcoversonlyconcretemasonrylintelscontainingreinforcement.Duetobuildingcodeimposedlimitationsonthedesignofmasonrylintels,alllintelsmustcontainreinforcement.Concretemasonrylintelsarenottypicallymanufacturedusingshearreinforcement(stirrupsorotherverticalreinforcement).Therefore,thisstandarddoesnotaddressissuesrelatedtosuch.Forfurtherguidance,refertoBuildingCodeRequirementsforMasonryStructures,ACI530/ASCE5/TMS402.Prestressedconcretelintelsarenotcoveredbythisstandard.1.2Lintelsaremanufacturedusingano-slumpconcretemixtoprovideasurfacetexturesimilartothatofconcretemasonry.Thisspecificationappliestobothmachine-madeandhand-tampedconcretemasonrylintelsintendedforuseinconcretemasonryapplications.1.3Concretemasonrylintelscoveredbythisspecificationaremadefromlightweightornormalweightaggregates,orboth.1.4Thisspecificationdoesnotaddressthedesignoranalysisoflintelcapacity.Structuralevaluationsmustbeperformedseparately.Thestrengthofalintelisafunctionoffactorsincluding,butnotlimitedto,thecharacteristicsofthematerialsusedinmanufacturing(concretematerialsandreinforcement),theamountandlocationofreinforcement,andthemanufacturingandcuringprocedures.Fordesignandanalysismethods,refertoBuildingCodeRequirementsforMasonryStructures,ACI530/ASCE5/TMS402.1.5ThisspecificationdoesnotcoverU-shapedlintelsorthoseofothercross-sectionsthatarenot100%solid.1.6Thisspecificationdoesnotcoverlintelsofgroutedconcretemasonrylintels,orprecastorcast-in-placelintelsofslumpconcrete.1.7Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnotesthatprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthestandard.1.8Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.
