【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesgeneralrequirementsfortheconstruction,testingandperformanceofelectricallyoperatedcarbonmonoxidegasdetectionapparatus,designedforcontinuousoperationindomesticpremises.Theapparatusmaybemainsorbatterypowered.SuchapparatusisintendedtowarnofanaccumulationofCO,enablingtheoccupanttoreactbeforebeingexposedtosignificantrisk.AdditionalrequirementsforapparatustobeusedinrecreationalvehiclesandsimilarpremisesarespecifiedinEN50291-2.NOTEForcaravanholidayhomesEN50291-1applies.ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestwotypesofapparatus,theseare?typeA–toprovideavisualandaudiblealarmandanexecutiveactionintheformofanoutputsignalthatcanbeusedtoactuatedirectlyorindirectlyaventilationorotherancillarydevice,and?typeB–toprovideavisualandaudiblealarmonly.ThisEuropeanStandardexcludesapparatus–forthedetectionofcombustiblegases,otherthancarbonmonoxideitself(seeEN50194-1),–forthedetectionofCOinindustrialinstallations(seeEN45544-1,EN45544-2andEN45544-3)orcommercialpremises,–forCOmeasurementforsmokeandfiredetection.
