【摘要】:Thisdocumentspecifiesamethodfortheartificialweatheringoftestspecimensoftreatedwood,whichareusedinthetestingofthebiologicalefficacyofwoodpreservatives.Thismethodisapplicableto:a)thepre-conditioningoftestspecimenspriortotheirbeingsubjectedtoabiologicaltest;orb)assessmentoflossofeffectivenessbycomparingtheperformanceinabiologicaltestoftreatedtestspecimenssubjectedtothisprocedurewithothersthathavenotundergoneanyartificialweatheringprocedure.NOTEThemethodcanalsobeusedforpre-conditioningofwood-basedpanelproducts,whichmayormaynothavereceivedpreservativetreatment.
